PULTNEYVILLE HOMECOMING FESTIVAL July 17th & 18th - 2010 On July 17th,
the Pultneyville Historical Society will kick off it's 53rd annual Homecoming
Festival. This year, in association with the local businesses in Pultneyville,
we will be hosting a day of fine Antiques, Art, Food, Wine and Jazz
along the streets of Pultneyville. Start off your visit by enjoying
your ride through rural Wayne County, looking at the developing fruit
growing on rows and rows of trees as you enter this historic hamlet.
Begin by browsing the wares of antique
dealers located under the big tent on the lawn of the Good Old Days
Country Shop and also situated under shading maples in historic Centennial
Park at the corner of Lake Road and Hamilton Street. Stroll up Mill
Street, stepping back in time as you view the vintage cars on display
as you head toward The Landing. Enjoy your view of Pultneyville Harbor
before you enter Artisan's Loft at The Landing to take in the "Positively
Pultneyville" art show. Both the Antique and Art segments of
the festival kick off at 10:00 am while the Primitive & Folk Art
Gathering at the Good Old Days kicks off at 8:00 am. Here is the lineup
we have planned for the festival. The
Bands: We're excited
to be bringing together some of the area's finest growers, food vendors,
wine producers, artists and musical venues. You are a necessary ingredient
and we invite you to join us for this Festival where you will have an
opportunity to see, sample and to purchase fine quality wares proudly
produced in our area. PHOTOS
